After the upgrade to kde 3.3.1-2 kde libs broke
All apps that need the kio_http will break from konqueror to kopete.

pacman -S heimdal
a new updated lib package will come this weekend

I think heimdal should be included in the base system. Many other distros like debian, redhat, etc compile their system with GSSAPI/kerberos support.
When somebody forgets to use --without-gssapi on their system while having things like the ximian connector installed, packages without intended heimdal dependencies break.
