Description:
I have one ATi 4850 X2 video adapter and when I run the glxinfo command, shows one failure (see the attached file) Additional info: * package version(s) kernel26 2.6.32.2-2 xorg-server 1.7.3.902-1 xf86-video-ati 6.12.4-3 mesa 7.7-1 ati-dri 7.7-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Run glxinfo command with one Ati 4850 X2 installed on X86_64 |

Please test the testing packages with either KMS or UMS.
mesa 7.7.1rc1 is now in testing. please give feedback.
please search the radeon and drm mailing lists for "msi" and glx
faulure issues. some card will now requiere "nomsi" boot option.
check for upstream bugs and fixes in late kernel drm testing code.
This failure still continues with kernel26 2.6.32.10-1,
xorg-server 1.7.5.902-1, xf86-video-ati 6.12.4-3, mesa 7.7.1-0.1
and ati-dri 7.7.1-0.1.
real development happens in the testing packages. give the new
kernel/KMS a try. DRI1 is depricated. if it crashes in the testing
packages and dmesg+Xorg.0.log are clean you should file an
upstream bug against mesa:
