DetailsDescription:
After upgrading kernel and kernel headers I am unable to build any modules. Reason 1. /lib/modules/2.6.32-ARCH/build doesn't exist. Reason 2. [root@myhost ~]# ls /usr/src/linux-2.6.32-ARCH/ vmlinux That is the only content of the folder. There are no header files. Based on that I assume that core/kernel-headers 2.6.32-1 package is broken. The issue is critical because for somebody who uses 3rd party network drivers it means that it would be impossible to restore connectivity (it would be impossible to compile network drivers) unless additional kernel is present in a grub menu, so it would not be overwritten by update Steps to reproduce: ls /usr/src/linux-2.6.32-ARCH/ |
