Description:
I just found that kernel-headers has files like .install and .install.cmd in almost all of its directories. Look at

$ pacman -Qql kernel-headers |grep \.install
/usr/include/..install.cmd
/usr/include/.install
/usr/include/asm-generic/..install.cmd
/usr/include/asm-generic/.install
/usr/include/asm/..install.cmd
/usr/include/asm/.install
/usr/include/linux/..install.cmd
/usr/include/linux/.install
[...]

I wonder what these files are for ? any use ? is it a bug of 'make headers_install' ? then this might be reported upstream ??

mmmh. it's not a bug it's a feature: http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0812.1/02554.html

LFS use
find /usr/include -name .install -or -name ..install.cmd | xargs rm -fv
to clean up the mess
