I just found that kernel-headers has files like .install and .install.cmd in almost all of its directories. Look at $ pacman -Qql kernel-headers |grep \.install /usr/include/..install.cmd /usr/include/.install /usr/include/asm-generic/..install.cmd /usr/include/asm-generic/.install /usr/include/asm/..install.cmd /usr/include/asm/.install /usr/include/linux/..install.cmd /usr/include/linux/.install [...] I wonder what these files are for ? any use ? is it a bug of 'make headers_install' ? then this might be reported upstream ?? |

LFS use
find /usr/include -name .install -or -name ..install.cmd | xargs rm -fv
to clean up the mess
