Reason for closing:  Works for me
Additional comments about closing:  Both package sets of core/extra and testing work for me and other users.

what about if you update fully from testing? cherry picking is not supported

pacman -S xf86-video-ati and it should be solved. [andyrtr@laptop64 tmp]$ pacman -Q libdrm mesa libgl ati-dri xf86-video-ati
libdrm 2.4.17-2
mesa 7.7-1
libgl 7.7-1
ati-dri 7.7-1
xf86-video-ati 6.12.4-3

That's what you should have.

Has updated xf86-video-ati to 6.12.4-3 deduces the same error, I will try to be updated completely from Testing

You could try to update to kernel 2.6.32, the mesa packages you downloaded are from testing.
Comment by Jan de Groot (JGC) - Monday, 28 December 2009, 07:41 GMT
You're using git snapshots of the radeon kernel driver. Our Mesa 7.7 packages don't have support for that. The kernel26 packages from both core and testing contain the right drivers that should work.
Comment by Павел Зобнин (IIaBeJI) - Monday, 28 December 2009, 08:16 GMT
All packages have been put from the extra reposytory. After a full update from Testing the error was gone, but does not join KMS and incorrectly defines locale.
It was rolled back on a kernel26 2.6.31.6-1, error has returned. The problem in a kernel can?
Comment by Jan de Groot (JGC) - Monday, 28 December 2009, 08:23 GMT
KMS is not officially supported anymore, as it's experimental. It may work, it might not. I think you have self-compiled kernel modules from git in your 2.6.31-ARCH directory. I think they're in /lib/modules/2.6.31-ARCH/updates/, drivers in that directory override the default kernel modules in other directories.
