Your patch doesn't apply to gcin 1.4.6 - I also expect it will need further changes in configure to detect our Qt libraries. Please fix this and find out if Qt4 will become an optional dependency or a true runtime dependency.

I don't know where you have your patch. The one from Mandrive also doesn't apply to the final 1.4.6 release. see http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/packages/cooker/gcin/current/

the patch was created by me. I modified the gcin path to work with archlinux, but I wasn't modified the PKGBUILD dependency. But the gcin qt module which works on my machine for Skype and Inkscape Applications.
