Details

Description:samba fails to start with error
/usr/sbin/smbd: error while loading shared libraries: libhx509.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

pacman -S samba

Please update your system, your system contains outdated libraries causing the missing shared objects.

I did update the system with pacman -Syy before the pacman -S samba. Please advice wich package should be updated.
