if one call imagepsloadfont() you get a "imagepsloadfont(): Call to undefined function" fatal error. Please add t1lib to makedepends and enable it by adding the "--with-t1lib" to php-extension flags. here it is working perfectly for me. Additional info: * package version(s) latest from abs * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: call e.g. imagepsloadfont() |

I don't like this very much as t1lib pulls in a lot of xorg dependencies.

ok t1lib pulls a lot dependency in. what about make it as optdepent since it is a runtime dependency?

It's not optional; the gd module links against t1lib.

I don't see any reason for this (you did not mention any). On the other side it should be simple to compile your own gd module.
