DetailsWhen copying tracks to iPods (all generations as far as I can tell) the track length is reported in milliseconds on the iPod. This is an upstream bug and a patch does exist:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215124 I've tested this patch and can confirm that it does resolve this issue. I realize it isn't the responsibility of Arch to be correcting upstream bugs but the next Amarok release may be months out and it would be nice to have iPods working again immediately. Basic iPod functionality still works but it is impossible to seek within these tracks. This bug was introduced into Amarok starting with version 2.2.1 and can be observed in package version 2.2.1-2. I see this bug on both my i686 and x64 machines. To reproduce this bug (assuming you've got your iPod working on Linux and Amarok) find a track in your collection, right click and copy to your iPod. Without unmounting or unplugging, drag the track from the iPod directly into the playlist and observe the track time. |

I'll not fix this, because I am uploading amarok 2.2.2beta1 on [testing] and the stable version will released soon.
