DetailsDescription: Easystroke, a package in the AUR, cannot be compiled due to a bug prevalent in the newest stable release of Boost. Specifically, the Boost::Serialization library.
Yes, technically the latest Boost package itself is fine. And yes, I realize Arch attempts to use the most vanilla version of software. However, this bug will not be put in the standard release until around February, so it might be a good idea to implement the patch now. Additional info: * Version 1.41.0 * Patch: in link below. * Easystroke Developer's comment: https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/easystroke/ticket/21#comment:6 To reproduce: Attempt to compile Easystroke against the latest Boost package (1.41.0). The latest AUR package for easystroke will do this. |
