Description:
I just spent 2 hours wondering why a Python script does not work on my Arch Linux server (it worked under Gentoo). I finally realized that python-flup was required to make it work as a FastCGI script with lighttpd.

Could python-flup please be added to python-webpy optdepends?
This task depends upon

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  python-webpy now has a nice little collection of optdepends:
python-flup, python-psycopg2, mysql-python, and mod_wsgi.
Thanks for the bug report!

Yes, flup is good! I'll add it to optdepends.
What about mod_wsgi as well?
I've never used that, but it seems like another reasonable optional
dependency.

Yep, mod_wsgi seems reasonable too. Thanks for that quick answer :)

There are some other good suggestions on http://webpy.org/recommended_setup, such as python-psycopg2 and mysql-python (for web.db).
