This option was in gentoo as I remember.
Its wery useful to automaticly install docs with packages.

thereis should be a variable in pacman.conf, something liek AUTODOC=1

then user install a package, pacman should auto select $package_name-doc or similar packages

say

pacman -S libsdl

will install:
libsdl
libsdl-doc
mayby also libsdl-docs, and so on.

I find it very unlikely that a user would want docs for all packages so this option would seem overkill. Surely the user would just install the docs for the packages they need.

(Not that I am expecting a response from the submitter given the 10min email address used...)
