Description:

When I drag&drop a directory from a file manager (thunar, nautilus, ...) containing songs to the audacious playlist it works correctly; but if I drop it on the player (meaning I want both to replace the current playlist and start playback) two unexpected things happen: 1) songs are added twice, 2) playback does not start. However, If I drop a bunch of files it works perfectly.

This used to work fine in older versions.

Additional info:

audacious 2.2-4
audacious-plugins 2.2-2
xfce4-utils 4.6.1-2
thunar 1.0.1-4

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch audacious
2. Drag a directory and drop on the player (not the playlist)

Not a thunar issue. Removing myself here.

Yes, with nautilus the behavior is the same I described.

On other side, drag&drop with konqueror does not work at all (I think there is a bug opened upstream).

I can confirm. The same situation here. Drag&Drop doesn't work with Dolphin on KDE 4.3.

seems to me that is an upstream problem. please report it upstream and paste the link here.
