DetailsDescription:
I have just installed Arch Linux and started to configure a working system. But, I can't start Cups! When CUPS is starting I see the following error message in console: "/usr/sbin/cupsd: error while loading shared libraries: libhx509.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" Looks like that libhx509.so.4 can not be found. The system just have another version of this library /usr/lib/libhx509.so.5. Steps to reproduce: Update Arch. Install cups. Start it: /etc/rc.d/cups start. See console output. |
This task depends upon
next time post version of cups
ldd /usr/sbin/cupsd | grep libhx509.so
libhx509.so.5 => /usr/lib/libhx509.so.5 (0x00007f243e72f000)
you need to have cups 1.4.2-2
