Linking CXX shared module ../../../lib/amarok_collection-mysqlecollection.so
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqld.a(client.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `mysql_server_last_error' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqld.a: could not read symbols: Bad value

Steps to reproduce:

yaourt -S amarok-git or amarok-minimal-git

downgrade to 5.1.39-1 solved the problem

my fault here, I remove the lines that fix this from PKGBUILD.
will be fixed in mysql 5.1.41-3
