A problem with perlmagick. I used Shutter (package shutter or shutter-bzr in AUR) and had some strange behaviour there. See here: With the previous imagemagick version ( everything works perfectly.

Steps to reproduce:

You can look at the output of perl -e 'use Image::Magick' I get:

photon@photon-desktop:/var/cache/pacman/pkg$ LANG="C" perl -e 'use Image::Magick'
perl: magick/semaphore.c:220: DestroySemaphoreInfo: Assertion `(*semaphore_info) != (SemaphoreInfo *) ((void *)0)' failed.
