First problem is: $ bacman libsmpp34 .... /usr/bin/bacman: line 140: [: missing `]' .... You can solve this problem just adding "space" in 140 row. Ok... but $ bacman libsmpp34 Entering fakeroot environment Package: libsmpp34-1.7.1-1 Copying package files... ERROR: unable to add /usr/lib/libsmpp34.so to the package If your user does not have permssion to read this file then you will need to run bacman as root So you're checking if file exist and if it is NOT symlink.
