bacman 3.3.1

First problem is:

$ bacman libsmpp34
....
/usr/bin/bacman: line 140: [: missing `]'
....

You can solve this problem just adding "space" in 140 row. Ok... but

$ bacman libsmpp34
Entering fakeroot environment
Package: libsmpp34-1.7.1-1
Copying package files...

ERROR: unable to add /usr/lib/libsmpp34.so to the package
If your user does not have permssion to read this file then
you will need to run bacman as root

So you're checking if file exist and if it is NOT symlink. The correct 140 row is:
if [ ! -e "$work_dir/$i" ] && [ ! -L "$work_dir/$i" ]; then
This task depends upon
