Thoses plugins are included in the upstream version of audacious-plugins, and not in ArchLinux version :

Some of them, like the PulseAudio plugin, can be useful.

I think plugin is optional thing, so if I would like to involve it, I build it on my own, because others don't need it.

I'm not sure that I see what you mean.
Plugins are not all that optional in Audacious : without plugin, this software is an audio player unable to play any file !
Are you suggesting that we should remove all plugins from the audacious-plugins package ?

By the way, I do think that PulseAudio is more used that OSS (a OSS plugin is included), and much much more than the metronom plugin !

Hi, we don't disable any plugin except pulseaudio (cause it's in [community]) and esd.
ours trend is to keep things vanilla; if developers don't enable those plugins by default, we will not add them.
