Reason for closing:  Won't fix
Additional comments about closing:  Implemented upstream. Wait for release, downgrade, or use unstable.

This has been already fixed in upstream for a long time (see the trac ticket).

It would be nice to have it fixed in Arch as well, I am using mutt in batch mode to send out
results etc. and it is unusable now...

I'm in the middle of writing university exams. Will have a look at upstream tomorrow and see where they're at for the next release.

No worries, your uni exams are of course priority.
I just wonder if I am the only user who uses mutt to send emails with attachment from a script?

I have not been able to find a clean patch for this fix. Being that this is a fringe case (at least in our community), I'm going to close this ticket. My suggestion would be to downgrade to the last stable release where batch mode was operational, or upgrade to the latest unstable release (mutt-hg) until the mutt devs push a new version.

If you happen to find a clean patch (the trac patches are not), feel free to re-open this ticket.
