$ sudo pacman -S community/libxft-lcd

Before this I saw:
$ sudo pacman -Syu
....
:: libxft conflicts with libxft-lcd. Remove libxft-lcd? [Y/n]
...

Early, I could install libxft-lcd without -Rd.

You can easily solve all of your problems using this patch to update the package ^_^
