DetailsIs there any particular reason why CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG needs to be set to "Y" in the kernel config? (Kernel 2.6 scsi.)
I use a USB storage drive pretty heavily over here and, consequently, my logs get overrun with reams of debug messages. I'd love to see that turned off as the default, unless there's some important need for it. |

This is already done in 2.6.9 (currently in Testing).
