DetailsDescription:
My TVTime worked until the upgrade to Xorg 1.7.1-1. Additional info: * package version(s) xorg-server 1.7.1-1 tvtime 1.0.2-1 * config and/or log files etc. Now, I'm launching the TVTime, and the console shows this : user@archerpc:~$ tvtime Running tvtime 1.0.2. Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml Reading configuration from /home/user/.tvtime/tvtime.xml xvoutput: No XVIDEO port found which supports YUY2 images. *** tvtime requires hardware YUY2 overlay support from your video card *** driver. If you are using an older NVIDIA card (TNT2), then *** this capability is only available with their binary drivers. *** For some ATI cards, this feature may be found in the experimental *** GATOS drivers: http://gatos.souceforge.net/ *** If unsure, please check with your distribution to see if your *** X driver supports hardware overlay surfaces. Steps to reproduce: Ugrade to to Xorg 1.7.1-1 and launch tvtime 1.0.2. |

Works for me. What videodriver, any configuration files and logfiles?

I'm using the xf86-video-radeonhd driver for my ATI 4850 X2 video card. I'm attaching my rc.conf and Xorg.0.log files; I haven't xorg.conf file created.

Your xorg.0.log indicates you're using the vesa driver. Either install the xf86-video-ati driver or configure Xorg to use the radeonhd driver from xorg.conf.

I've created the xorg.conf file, but the graphic mode doesn't starts. I'm attaching my xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log files.

Try installing xf86-video-ati instead, it's the recommended driver for most radeon cards these days. Looks like the radeonhd driver is causing segmentation faults on your system.
