DetailsDescription:
openntpd fails to start at bootup with the message "dispatch_imsg in main: pipe closed. Terminating" Reason for this is according to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=402939 a changed syntax in its configuration file. It only happens if you use the standard Listen directive "Listen *". You have to change it to "Listen 0.0.0.0" to make it start up fine again on bootup. Additional info: * package version(s) openntpd 3.9p1-8 * config and/or log files etc. - Steps to reproduce: - Uncomment Listen directive in /etc/ntpd.conf - Add openntpd to rc.conf daemons - reboot and watch it fail |
