DetailsDescription:
The netcfg example file named wireless-wpa-config is missing a closing double-quote(") on line 5. Without the closing quote a handled exception displays an error message about finding an unexpected EOF. I configured netcfg for running from the init scripts(runlevel 3) so unfortunately I don't have the exact error message. By closing the " the error is resolved and netcfg configures perfectly. Additional info: Steps to reproduce: 0) pacman -S core/netcfg 1) Copy wireless-wpa-config to the /etc/network.d directory from the etc/network.d/examples directory. 2) In [etc/rc.conf] Add line NETWORKS=(wireless-wpa-config) To the DAEMONS list disable 'network' with '!' and include net-profile in the list 3) Reboot |
