Description:
Anjuta 2.28.0.0 crashes to desktop while creating a new project. Furthermore I believe the package may be missing dependencies, obviously java is required, this is not listed as a dependency.

quick google did not result anything interresting, merely the suggestion to add the location of libjvm.so to PATH. Could this be a flaw in the JRE package?

Additional info:
Anjuta version 2.28.0.0
Installed version of JRE: jre 6u16-1

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Anjuta
2. Create a new project (GTK or GNOME Applet)
3. Run through the wizzard and save

crash result attached.

There is no crash, the warnings are from libgda that can't find openjdk for the JDBC provider.

though it seems to work with openjdk6, openjdk6 crashes, unrelated to this bug report I assume.

am I to assume that Anjuta does not work with sun's JRE?

Try updating to 2.28.1.0, it contains at least one crash fix.

2.28.1.0 no longer crashes for me in combination with sun's JRE fom the arch repositories. As far as I am concerned, this can be closed :)
