Details

Description:
After I upgraded to the latest version of gtk+ some pages, namely google
reader, have been experiencing extremely slow smooth scrolling with a lot of
blocky animations as well. Regular scrolling is also pretty slow, though not as
bad as smooth scrolling mode. These pages work fine in other browsers such as
chromium.

Things go back to working normally as soon as I reverted back to gtk+ 2.16.


Additional info:
Problem effects gtk+ 2.18.2.



Steps to reproduce:
For me it is going to google reader and scrolling inside a feed with gtk+ 2.18.2 installed.

Looks like an upstream issue. Please report to upstream if not already reported. This is the best way to this type of problems can be resolved. Thanks.
