DetailsIf you install a new vanilla kernel like 2.6.9 and if you have a intel 2200 pro wireless card you will notice that you need to compile the module for that card so when you do that, all run well except that the HAL daemon will no run!!! No warnings nothing you just do ./hal start or hald whatever you want but the daemon will not load.
If you take out the ipw2200 module you will notice that Hal daemon can run again .... |
