Detailslibvorbis is missing an important symlink: /usr/lib/libvorbis.so.0.2.0
it must be symlinked to /usr/lib/libvorbis.so.0.3.0 else arts will fail to play ogg files. |
This task depends upon
please tell me what app is affected
noatun plays fine ogg files
xmms and amarok too
thanks
Pacman updated libogg and libvorbis and kde too.
xmms, mplayer, xine plays ogg fine. Its only the apps that use arts that have problems.
Please close this bug (sorry for the trouble caused).
looks like someone else too has problems:
http://bugs.archlinux.org/index.php?do=details&id=1677
Its all because of the missing libFLAC.so.4
for some stupid reason, arts wont play ogg if that symlink is missing.
also, "pacman -Ql flac" lists libFLAC.so.4 - but its actually not there.
please let the flac package manager know ant this.
symlink libFLAC.so.4 is needed for arts to work properly
(but amarok needs that flac symlink.)
