Details
The scripts in /etc/profile.d/ do not have their related
PKG_CONFIG_DIR variables set. KDE/Gnome/XOrg all have their
own personal directories which should be appended to
PKG_CONFIG_DIR. In addition, local.sh could include the base
PKG_CONFIG_DIR settings. If this is not a valid option, a
pkgconfig.sh script could be added to /etc/profile.d and
packaged with pkg-config

Passing on to Dale... Dale, can you add settings for the mozilla-* packages for next builds? Each should have a profile.d script that says "export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:/opt/mozilla-firefox/lib/pkgconfig"
When you're finished, please pass on this bug report to Lou (KDE needs them too).
Lou, when you're finished, please pass this on to Arjan. (Arjan, not sure if you've added a PKG_CONFIG_PATH yet or not, but GNOME will need it too).
Thanks, all.
then we can close this bug
