Description:
The xfce panel main menu is hard to find (package "xfdesktop"); a hint should be added somewhere where it's harder to miss - maybe optional dependencies of xfce4-panel and/or xfdesktop description: "...that also contains a bla bla compliant menu and stuff or something". Additional info: * package version(s) xfdesktop 4.6.1-1 (xfce4) xfce4-panel 4.6.1-1 (xfce4) Steps to reproduce: - install arch, install xfce4-panel - no "main menu"! - pacman -S xfdesktop && xfce4-panel --restart - Wheee, there it is! - pacman -Qo /usr/share/xfce4/panel-plugins/xfce4-menu.desktop says: /usr/share/xfce4/panel-plugins/xfce4-menu.desktop is owned by xfdesktop 4.6.1-1 - pacman -Rsn xfdesktop && xfce4-panel --restart - Main Menu is gone - pacman -S xfdesktop && xfce4-panel --restart - Main menu is back |
