Ettercap can not be built due to undefined references to some ncurses functions. I've googled a bit and found this (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128675) thread, which contains the patch (see attachment) that fixes the problem. Steps to reproduce: yaourt -Sb ettercap P.S. sorry for poor english ;) |

I've modified PKGBUILD for using the patch but makepkg fails with the same problem. Therefore I'm able build ettercap manually after patching.

Makepkg is able to build the package after setting LDFLAGS to "-Wl,--export-dynamic"
ettercap-0.7.3-as-needed.patch
