DetailsDescription:
avidemux 2.5.1-1 can't initialize ALSA audio device. If I open an mpg file in avidemux 2.5.1-1 and click onto the play button I get a window with the message: "Trouble initializing audio device". After clicking onto the "Ok" button, the video is played but without sound. I've got an M-Audio Audiophile 24/96, which is running with the ALSA kernel module snd-ice1712. I'm using kernel26 2.6.30.6-1 resp. kernel26-fbcondecor 2.6.30.6-1, which are generally the same except of the fbcondecor patch. ALSA is working perfectly with this card and with other audio software. |
This task depends upon

Notes:
- the GUI have been split from the package. for gtk: install avidemux-gtk. for qt: install avidemux-qt.
- they are built against the ffmpeg/x264 in testing.
