netcfg does support this

Wow, this is the worst bug report ever. No package name mentioned, a patch inside a tarfile, ...

As the ifplugd action script is configurable via config file anyway, I'd rather not complicate the default more.

I'd say this should be submitted upstream, but they haven't had a release since 2005....

But... this actually doesn't look that bad, considering this is all arch-supplied config anyway (not upstream). If no one minds, I can commit this to trunk and rebuild a little later.
