After the latest bash (4.0.033-1) and bash-completion (1.0-3) updates, /etc/profile doesn't source bash-completion by /etc/profile.d/* like it used too. I assume this isn't intentional since /etc/bash.bashrc doesn't get sourced by anything, and that file sources /etc/bash_completion. Is profile.bash now redundant? If so, /etc/profile should source the correct bash settings file. |
