DetailsDescription: With the sept 23rd 2009 update of pidgin, pidgin would not run without libgstfarsight.
Additional Infos: - I have some plugins on: Buddy Notes, Buddy State Notification, Message Notifications, Mouse Gestures, Psychic Mode, Text Replacement, and Timestamp. If the regular default Pidgin doesn't have this bug, perhaps enabling some of these causes an opt dep instead. Steps to reproduce: - Install latest pidgin - Try to run it (see the message about missing libgstfarsight missing) Solution: - Install farsight2 |
