I can't delete/hide the My documents icon from the desktop.

What's the problem/symptom while you're trying this operation, what does it say ?

Only I do want remove the My documents icon from the desktop, this is one shortcut associated with one .desktop file ... but the file doesn't exists.

How is this archlinux related?
