DetailsThe current python package (2.x) should provide "python2" so that python2-only applications can depend on it explicitly.
Although it may be a while off, this should make the python->python2 && python3->python transition smoother. |

Edit: sorry miss read the bug. You mean add a "provides" line to the package. My bad...
