DetailsDescription:
Several applets (digital clock, shiny switcher, possibly others) fail to load when added to the awn panel. There is a problem with the PKGBUILD that prevents the config schemas from being installed to the correct location. Several paths are enclosed in quotes, which is normally fine. However, these paths include wildcards that become interpreted as a literal "*" when enclosed in quotes. The solution is to place the segment including the wildcard outside the quotes. e.g. "$pkgdir/etc/gconf/schemas/*.schemas" should be "$pkgdir/etc/gconf/schemas/"*.schemas Attached is a fixed PKGBUILD with a bumped pkgrel. This resolves the problem, allowing the applets to locate their config schemas and load correctly. Additional info: * package version: 0.3.2.2-1 Steps to reproduce: * Install awn-extras-applets from [community] * Try to add the digital clock or shiny switcher applets to avant-window-manager, they will fail to load |
