DetailsThe new evolution does not register GConf settings on postinstall and does not remove them. Every application that depends on gconf and has *.schema files have to do this, otherwise parts of the program will not work.
Also, packages containing scrollkeeper files (*.omf) should rebuild the scrollkeeper database to add those files to the help system. ftp://ftp.schoolbak.dyndns.org/gnome27/src/evolution/evolution.install There's an example of a possible postinstall on that page. There's a gnome-pilot notice in it, since gnome-pilot isn't a run dependency, but a build dependency. |
