When running namcap on Hal, it seems that gnome-python is not needed. This gnome depedency is a pain because you must install ALL gnome libraries just to have dbus or hal. This dependency should be looked into and to be considered for removal

I don't use arch anymore, but when I installed hal on my system, it had dependencies on mono. It's nice to have programming bindings for mono on your system, but please, do not make normal users have to install mono to use HAL/DBUS.
