DetailsDescription:
When bitlbee are started with /etc/rc.d/bitlbee it complains in syslog that bitlbee.pid and bitlbee.sock can't be made in /var/run. Obviously it's already left it's root privileges and the user bitlbee can't write to a directory owned by root. I just changed PKGBUILD so that bitlbee will write those files to /var/run/bitlbee instead, and so that such a directory owned by the user bitlbee are installed. Patch to PKGBUILD attached. Additional info: * package version(s) Bitlbee 1.2.3-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: `sudo /etc/rc.d/bitlbee start' and look at the log files. |
