My system is Archlinux x86_64 with the testing repository enabled and all packages updated to the latest versions. I've already tried rebuilding the qbittorrent package using the latest PKGBUILD from abs, but that didn't help, qbittorrent still crashes. When I do not try to add (load) a torrent file, it seems to work flawlessly and doesn't crash (although I got several torrent files in the download queue).

maybe test.torrent is the cause. did you try to see if in other torrent clients that file is opening?
