DetailsPDFs created from R (language and environment for statistical computing and graphics) render incorrectly with poppler-based viewers (like okular), but correctly with xpdf (see attached files).
The problem is reported on http://stat.ethz.ch/R-manual/R-patched/library/grDevices/html/pdf.html, and the workaround worked for me: add to ~/.fonts.conf the lines: <alias binding="same"> <family>ZapfDingbats</family> <accept><family>Dingbats</family></accept> </alias> I do not have this problem on my Debian sid box (there, okular renders correctly without need of doing anything). |
