what extra plugins do you need, what functionality do they provide and what are the extra dependencies they need?

On my part: Syndication, webinterface, search

Syndication - Extends KTorrent functionality to manage RSS as in subscribing to public trackers RSS and let you choose what to download.

WebInterface - Kind of self-explained, provides a web user interface for ktorrent

Search - Enhances KTorrent to lookup your loaded torrents

There are more plug-ins but like I said, on my part I just need those. As for dependencies, I didn't run into any but don't get my word from this. I had problems compiling KTorrents because it needed a component of Phonon to work for their video playback support which it just ocurred to me, yes, the plug-in "mediaplayer" has a dependency I can't find in archlinux repos or AUR.

mediaplayer plug-in is probably unnecessary for the users and not worth making it work(to disable -DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER_PLUGIN=false )

Update:

I just managed to compile everything after disabling the mediaplayer plug-in.

Please let me know if you need anything else, I should say that I'm not very good at console but will try my best to provide you information. If there is a better way to know the dependencias *as in a command to dump the list of what the binary relies on* then be kind to guide me

mmm, the plugins were there for me on x86_64. I updated both architectures to the 3.2.3 release, does it work for you now?

btw, once you've built a package with makepkg you can check linked deps with namcap from the namcap package (e.g. 'namcap *.pkg.tar.gz')

Hello,

I'm unable to track the package in many mirrors. Been doing pacman -Syy (also cleared my cache pacman -Scc)

[david@haru ~]$ sudo pacman -Ss ktorrent
extra/ktorrent 3.2.2.1-1
A BitTorrent program for KDE
[david@haru ~]$ sudo pacman -S ktorrent

yep there are currently some mirror issues. You can always track an up2date mirror in your neighborhood via http://users.archlinux.de/~gerbra/mirrorcheck.html
That website tracks the status of all/most mirrors.

It is working now, sorry for the late answers been busy with college.

Well, at first run after the package installation it didn't seem to show the plugins, after the second run it registered the plugins so it's all working as expected

Thanks!
