Details

Description:
There are missing some (rt2561.bin, etc, but not all) of firmware binary files in /lib/firmware when Arch is installed on harddisk.
However the firmware files, exist on install .img . It appears that they are not installed from install image, to harddisk.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.


Steps to reproduce:
Load from netinstall usb image. Wireless networks configures properly with wpa_supplicant. Install proceeds normal with default selected packages.
Reboot installed Arch from harddisk.Try to bring up wlap0 with wpa_supplicant, but it complies that can not found rt2561.bin file.

These firmwares are provided by additional firmware packages. The installer iso comes with these firmwares in the installer image so these chips work out of the box.

The firmware are not part of "base" group.If you in the install phase not select these packages will not work.
