Current octave binary package is missing the graphicsmagick-functionality that is required for some imageing capabilities. (e.g. imread won't work). Steps to reproduce: Install octave-3.2.2, have a .tif somewhere around, start octave, type imread('/path/to/file.tif') Steps to solve: make graphicsmagick a dependency for the octave-package and then recompile the package. octave's ./configure will automatically detect that graphicsmagick is installed. |
