Description:

After updating to the latest evdev, the mouse (touchpad, actually) does not react: no tapping or movement. However, clicking the hardware buttons works.

Xorg.0.log does not report any error after grep EE and grep WW.

I solved the problem locally by downgrading.

Additional info:
* packages with problem: xf86-input-evdev-2.2.3-1-i686, xorg-server-1.6.3-1-i686 and xf86-video-intel-2.7.99.902-1-i686
* upgraded from: *-evdev-2.2.2-1-*, xorg-server-1.6.1.901-3-* and *video-intel-2.7.99.902-1-*
* config and/or log files etc.

For touchpads the synaptics driver works much better than evdev anyways. My Elantech touchpad also has issues with evdev for a long while.
