Hi,
enough mirrors have now the new snapshot images, also the torrent tracker is working.

We have made a announce already in bbs: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=77680

Something we could not do:
a) Modify the Download page on archlinux.org to reflect 2009.08
Caution: ftp images are now named netinstall!

b) Post the announce on title site and as official news announce
Caution: without Dieters hints on top and as footer...

c) change the "latest" symlink on gerolde's iso dir from 2009.02 to 2009.08
Pierre has done this already....

Here we need some help please

Yeah the announcement on the bbs is slighty edited here and there. (the one that should be posted is: http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-releng/2009-August/000703.html )

I would like to post the announcement on the mainpage myself. Can my permissions for this be arranged?
