Additional info: * pyqt3 3.17.6-1 with python 2.6.2-5 * I discovered this because mnemosyne segfaulted on launch Steps to reproduce: Install pyqt3, run the python interpreter, type `import qt' and "Segmentation fault" should be printed to stdout. |

Upgrading pyqt3 to 3.18.1 solved it.
