nsc-ircc does not load on my Asus M2N laptop any more. It stopped working after the recent /dev cleanup. (Of course, this does not necessarily mean that the cleanup caused this problem.) Additional info: * package version(s) syslog-ng 3.0.3-2 udev 141-5 filesystem 2009.07-1 initscripts 2009.07-3 * config and/or log files etc. /proc/ioports attached. A couple of lines from dmesg: nsc-ircc 00:0a: activated nsc-ircc, chip->init nsc-ircc, Found chip at base=0x02e nsc-ircc, driver loaded (Dag Brattli) nsc_ircc_open(), can't get iobase of 0x2f8 nsc-ircc, Found chip at base=0x02e nsc-ircc, driver loaded (Dag Brattli) nsc_ircc_open(), can't get iobase of 0x2f8 nsc-ircc 00:0a: disabled Steps to reproduce: Try nsc-ircc after the /dev cleanup. |
